The guy said he's had it for sale for awhile but I was the first person to come look at it. He said he was asking $4500, then reduced to $3800, then $3000.
Very nice, can't believe you got it at that price!

Well, that's cool, - I'm sure that will be allot of fun.

Better build that tranny

Congrats :santa:

On the serious side..
Indeed. Cleanest I've ever seen. Congrats. Going to be a big step from that 4.6L

I was offered a job (actually two) with AER in Carrolton TX shortly after I retired from Ford. We did a lot of Dyno testing for them with their reman engines. Recognized the plastic engine crate yours is sitting on right away. Their reman engines held up to testing just as good as brand new engines, they do good work. Nice engine you have there. Take care,

I know it, that one could sell for 5k pretty easy IMO.

If it were me, I'd find a trans and have it built. Rear end as well. Better order your tune

I'm gonna be keeping the motor pretty stock though...not going to up the boost much or anything. Might do a pulley swap and tune, but I would think the rods should hold up on a pretty much stock motor.

And yes, I'm either going to pick up another tranny and have it built or have mine built during the swap.

I have an edge already...do you think I can send it in to PHP and they can load the correct tune on it? Or do I need to buy another programmer?

Your definitely going to need different tunes. I'm not sure how they do it now, you'll have to call PHP or go to their site.

They might have Livewire, = download files online. Yea, you'll have to inquire. Start a thread about it here for answers -

Both of them scenarios are a good way to rip the tranny out of it also!
Your just NOT supposed to do that anyway, period.

I wont even do it with a built block and built 4r100 tranny. That stuff is just way to expensive!
