Hello,

I have the 4.6 liter engine with 8th vin 6 with a 8 bolt flywheel. Can i swap it with a 4.6 with a 6 bolt flywheel.

I want to replace the motor can anyone
tell me are the 4.6, 6 bolt and 8 bolt flywheel engines interchangeable.
My engine has a 8 bolt flywheel and i can get an engine with 6 bolt flywheel.

Thanks in advance want to make sure before doing the swap.

i just did a swap myself and yes u can use a 6 bolt engine but why if u r swapping engines get a 5.4. i just put a 5.4 out of a 03 and it fit like a glove and runs great no major modifications
