Finally

Dropped my truck off with Mike at Troyer Performance a couple weeks ago to finish the motor swap, going from a 4.6 to as 5.4 in a 2000 F-150. I had gotten started on this a couple of years ago when the original motor started knocking. I got the old one out and the new one in and run out of money before I could get the computer work and exahust work finished. Then I started building a house and one thing after the other and now 2 years later I am finally getting it back on the road. Mike had it scheduled to come in on May 11th but told me I could bring it up any time and with my work schedule and the farm in KY I just went ahead and took it up the first chance I got.

I cannot wait to get it back and know that it will be in better than new and that Mike will have it running better than Henry Ford could have ever dreamed.

Sounds like it's going to be perfect! What's the history of the 5.4 that's getting swapped in?

It is brand new with 1 hour dyno time on it. Got it from a customer who owns and engine assembly plant in Ohio that used to do Ford's but had a falling out and is now building GM engines. This was one of the engines pulled off the line and sent to his engine research shop in South Carolina at PleasureCraft Marine where he did all the emissions testing on them. That is where the falling out came from when Ford was building the Edge he couldn't get it to pass emissions and they wanted him to go ahead and release it so they could put the car into production and have time to fix the problem while in production but he couldn't/wouldn't.

I thought mine had low miles. You got your hands on one that never left the plant. Very nice. Good luck, whats the turn around time estimated?
