PCV Valve

Truck - 2000 F150 5.4

i need a new PCV valve on my truck and was wondering what yall used to replace them. i would like to buy a MotorCraft PCV but was wondering if it matters(as there harder to find) or is there a preferred alternative to the OEM? if so where did you get it/parts #

Stick with Motorcraft - EV238, even though your stock one will say EV233.

Right get a EV238, - 233's are for the 4.6L's.

In my experience with this truck, aftermarket PCVs are cheap, thin metal pieces of crap that do nothing but rattle. Go with Motorcraft. They're not really that expensive (especially considering how infrequently you have to change it). Go to the dealer, or try RockAuto.com.
