What's the difference between Motorvac and BG service?

 

The standard BG air induction cleaning uses a pressurized canister that mists the cleaning solution into the engine through the throttle body.

The Motorvac system uses a cleaner that's fed into the engine through the fuel system. A pressurized canister is teed into the fuel system and the engine is ran off the cleaner until it quits. This cleans the injectors very well, the BG system does not.

Although BG makes a fuel injector cleaning rig similar to the Motorvac, it's very rare to see someone using it.
