Power Steering pump leak

Power Steering pump leak

i installed a brand new power steering pump on my Lightning motor and the damn thing keeps leaking out of one of the bolt holes witch doesnt make any sense...is there something i am missing or is this one just defective

Leaking out of the bolt holes doesn't make any sense... The high pressure line is very close to the bolts, are you sure its not seeping out of there? Or possibly the supply line?

There might be an O-ring missing? Or damaged? Just a thought...

Actually there were a small number of blocks that had one of the P/S holes drilled to deep. It just barely cut into a oil passage. You can remove the bolt and apply a good thread sealer and that will solve the problem. There are no other complications from this. Take care.

i filled in the hole with some jb weld and the darn thing is ll leaking..i think im just going to get another one haha
