A few plug/COP questions

I searched and did find some information, but I needed to clear a few things up...so here goes:

(All questions apply to my '03 4.6l)

I'm about to buy all 8 plugs and while I am at it, I plan on replacing all 8 COPs. I have read that Motorcraft Platinums are recommended, but when looking on Oreilly's list of plugs available, I see Motorcraft Platinums (SP493) and I also see Motorcraft Premium Nickel Alloys (SP413). The Platinums are $3.09 apiece and the Nickels are $4.59 apiece...does the higher price mean better quality here? If so, I definitely don't mind spending the $1.50 extra apiece.

Here's the Oreilly page with the 2 different MC plug choices:
http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/se...ts=15&sortBy=1

I also came across some "Champion" one-piece plugs on ebay...For all 8, it is a little over $100. It describes their one-piece design as patented and says they're built in one piece to ensure that they come out in one piece. I kinda like this idea because I do plan on keeping my truck past 200k miles. If they're as quality of a product as they claim and seem, I wouldn't mind paying up here either. Here's a link:

Also, would someone point me in the right direction to the Global Auto COPs that are always recommended on here? All I could find on ebay were the $259 set and some other $79 "Rally" brand (?) and the $359 MSD set. Links to the first two sets mentioned:
Rally ebay brand:

TRE COPs ($249 set) :

Sorry I've written a book here :o But your help is appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Single piece plugs are for the 3v motors. (03+)You have the 2v motor. Wrong plug
Use the motorcraft platinum's for 3.09
Search globals stores for ignition coils (store search). Theyre like $100
http://stores.ebay.com/GLOBAL-AUTOMOTIVE?_rdc=1

I think your finding the wrong ones.

I guess I'll post the coil link since it's right here, about on every page lol -

For the 4six, the MC irdiums are the best. To bad they don't them for the 5fours or I would run them. Other than MC, you can run NGK and Denso's in your model.

SP493's and those $74.95 Ebay cops that Toyz linked you to. Torque to 28 ft/lb with NO antiseize and use dielectric grease in the cop boots.

Ha, I do kinda feel like a noob on the one-piece plug question :o ...didn't even look on the ad to see it's not for my application. But I DO know my motor is the 2v

And I guess the reason I didn't come across the rally coils was because I was searching "Ford COP" on ebay instead of just ignition coils. And the only thing about this site I'm not exactly crazy about is the search feature...:o

OK sweet, so I'll get the MC plat's and Global coils. Thanks guys!

And jbrew, after 16,000+ posts, you can't tell that I did post this in the engines forum?? LOL kidding bud -- thanks for the link!
