Cruise control issue

Got in my truck today and the cruise wouldn't work. I have changed nothing except the battery in the last few weeks.

Checked the fuse....no problem there. Any ideas?

I am assuming the switch is broken. I flashed when I pushed on, but then when I pushed resume nothing....no other flashes after the on button.

Check under the hood, My dads 99 and my 03 had a similar problem and it was the plastic clip attaching to the throttle body. It is susceptible to snapping very easilyin colder weather.

Mine is held together with electrical tape for now
