Turned on the truck the other day (99 f150 5.4l) when looking for the problem i noticed my 4wd/2wd soleniods werent working as they should, i'll be fixing those today...i dont think its connected? Anyhow, i got the codes read and i had a cylinder 3 misfire, replaced the coil seeing as how i've had the problem before. Turned the truck on and boom it was running perfectly, i drove it home (about 4 miles away) and hit the sack. Woke up today and the miss is worse than ever, even got a check engine light. Please help, im at a loss.

 

Check the codes again.

How old are the spark plugs, what brand are they, and give us the same info re: all the cops.

 

probably a moisture related cop failure. sometimes they work sometimes not.. #3 I'd look for leaks in the heater hose back on that side.
