well there's more bull running around I need to do now this just keeps getting better and better but thanks now atleast I know.. k people told me I need a drivers side motor mount and others told me I don't so do I need one of those or not?

The driver side motor mount may be different ,because of the oil cooler on a Lightning.
I'm not running an oil cooler so my stock motor mounts were ok for the L motor.

ok beauuutiful now im getting answers.. another thing im getting jerked around with is the cost it'll be to pay a shop to do this swap roughly how much you figure this'll cost me to do?

Unless the shop has done it before,,they will have a hard time figuring out the cost.
That's probably the answer your getting from most shops...lol

It's going to depend on where you are , how much the shop charges for an hour labor , what parts they might need.

I know Iv paid around 3K to pull the motor ,pull heads , put new heads on and reinstall the motor before. That included new head gaskets and studs.
I paid separate for the heads.

I don't have the right tools or skill to pull that I'll just make my truck a piece

northern alberta and yeah I might throw it into my ranger or sell it to a shop that does my install to offset the cost or sell it to a guy I know to replace his truck motor that's dieing
