Motorking has the same thing to say about Fram oil filters - and he hasn't been able to back up his claims with hard data. I doubt he will be able to give us any meaningful spark plug data. I'll use Autolite all day in the old pushrod V8's and inline 6, but not in a Triton or Essex.

These trucks are picky from what i hear and they don't like autolite plugs! I've heard the best bet is to stick with motorcraft. I also heard good things about NGK and Denso Iridiums. but thats it. There is a thread or 2 around here that will show you what autolights do to your engine.....stay motorcraft!

yeah i know a few people who run nothing but fram on all there 97+ fords and have never had a prob. ever since the spark plug thing its motorcraft only on everything. they cost the same why not??

some people seem to run autolites fine in triton/essex motors but other like me not so lucky.

Pre triton/essex they dont really care as long as it archs.
