I think the only way to get a motorcraft filter around here is through a dealership, but with a little research it looks like the pure-one is basically the same filter.

autozone carrys them around here. so does murrys and adv. and i think wal-mart might too

Walmart carries Motorcraft oil and filters.

The advance here doesn't but its just a small one. and our wal mart doesnt have that big of a selection its mainly just fram puralator and the wal mart brand.

Purolator makes the Motorcraft filters. I think it's the purolator pure one that's the same as Motorcraft.

Yeah from the research that i have gathered it seems to be that the motorcraft and pure-one are essentially the same filter.

Are you sure Wal-Mart doesn't carry Motorcraft? Every WM I've been in carried them, even in Alabama and Tenn. They don't carry very many #'s, just a few so it's easy to miss them. About $3.60 for our trucks and $11.50 for 5 qt. jug of MC Semi-Synth. 5-20. Tough to beat the price.

Thanks, ill have to look a little harder next time. As for oil i'm just gonna stick with the Conventional Castrol that its had for the last 160,000 miles.
