hey guys im looking at replacing the IAC on my truck... i went to the local Napa in Ontario and they list 2 different ones... 1 for an L vin and the other for a Z vin... now... i know my truck is a L vin...

so here is the confusion... i went online and started looking for one and found that rockauto sells them... but they list an STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS Part # AC253. however they list this for both the L and Z vin# can this be right? will it work for both?

cause they also list a STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS Part # AC225 that is just listed under the L vin..

which one will work ?

They are most likely the same part for both engine codes. L is regular fueled z is flex fuel (I think..)
