F150 prob

Hi i am a new user as of today, all i can say is i like this site. So i hope some one can help me from FORD nation. I have 2001 f150 4.6 xlt that im haveing problems with fuel. I will driveing down the road and it will shut down on me and some times it will start back up. If not i have to pull over and cycle the switch a few times and the it will start. Sometimes when i am at work and get in my truck it will not start, it will just act like it wants to turn over. I have to do that a few times then it will start. when im at idle it feels like its missing and will shut down. I have had this problem befor and cant pin point it, i have changed the fuelpump before and it still did it. I have changed the relay and it worked fine after that but now problem is back. Can a bad fuel presure switch do this allso? I hope someone can help me thanks.

Yea, seems like you would have a DTC for that. Regardless, check your fuel system pressures. You can try cleaning the MAF and rebooting, -might help.

I have seen before on *90's f-150 where the fuel lines at connections get clogged by rubber o-rings deteriorating.Same symptoms as yours. It was my neighbors truck and I ended up replacing all fuel lines.
