Ford F150 PCM Codes P0174 and P0351

My truck has about 82,000 miles. I had been experiencing running issues. One day it was running fine then the next lost accel. I got the check engine light Went to ford deal hooked up to diagnostic they never gave me any error codes. Here's what they said showed cylind 1,2 and 4 at fault. Preformed balance test found same three cylinders dropping offline, Recommend 3 colis, tune up. Which I was told $697 cannot afford that. I went to texaco lube place I know the guys there and they changed ou the plugs and replaced the 3 coils (which they were fine) Ran fine for a couple days now. Getting the P0174 again and now secondary code of P0361. Ready to pull my hair on these codes. Any ideals on how to fix issues? I would really appreciate any help at all.

It's usually more helpful if you let the guys here know what you're driving. Try posting the year, model, and engine size. There's also a place in your profile to list these items. Fill it out and then you should get an answer a lot quicker.

You pretty much have the same engine year model of mine. Once the COPS start acting up, it's best to replace all of them. Here's the ones for your truck. There have been numerous folks here use this brand of COPS and all have been happy with them. These will be going on mine when the weather turns warmer. This should get rid of the P0361 OR the P0351 as you list both numbers.

Make sure these are the correct fitment.

A code P0174 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:

The MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor is dirty or faulty. Note: The use of "oiled" air filters can cause the MAF to become dirty if the filter is over-oiled. There is also an issue with some vehicles where the MAF sensors leak the silicone potting material used to protect the circuitry.
There could be a vacuum leak downstream of the MAF sensor.

Hope this was helpful. If nothing else, it should be a fairly cheap fix.
