I had a problem with the truck, damage intake valve in one of the cylinders...warped head.

so I would need an engine rebuilt, but was seeing these 5.4 v8 engines in Ebay for sale, for around 2k

Knowing how much I hate the low end torque on my 4.6 I was wondering how difficult would it be to have my mechanic swap the 4.6 to the 5.4 and if it's worth it.

You could swap to the 2v 5.4 pretty easy I think. 3v would be harder and I dont think I'd want to do that swap anyway. I havent seen where anyone actually done it. 2v 5.4 new body would be unique..
