theres a 2 second delay after i turn the key forward the first time... I just put a brand new 850CCA battery and alternator on it... Think its the starter that makes it delay? btu why only the first attempt??

Assuming all your battery cables are OK either the Relay switch on the firewall or the solenoid on the starter gets lazy over night. Short the switch on the firewall first. The two large terminals get shorted together. If it fires right up I would suspect the switch is defective. FYI the switch is grounded through the case. Corroded mounting bolts will make the ground irregular.

You don't have an aftermarket alarm or a remote start do you?
