Idle problem.. Please help

Hey Guys,

I have noticed that my truck has little to no idle... If i let off the brake in drive or reverse on flat ground it wont move. Is this normal? Or is there some way to tune it up a little? Its kind of tough when im trying to back up with no idle, i end up hitting the gas to hard sometimes... (06' 5.4L)

Do you have a tach, and if so, what is the idle rpm in gear? It's probably normal. If you are having coordination problems, drive with 2 feet, modulate the brake with your left foot.

No adjustment on modern engines and it sounds like your truck is running good. Use your right foot..
