is it possible to put a 429 in an '02?

Anything is possible if you are imaginative enough to fabricate the parts necessary to make it fit. Do you have a 2 or 4 wheel drive? You'd have transmission mounts to consider too, custom driveshafts, etc.

it' can be done it's not worth the hassle, just build a stroker 5.4 and be done with it

well i already have the engine, which i got from my grandfather who wasnt going to do anything with it. i figured i would just rebuild it. And its 2wd
