Talking built 4.6L!!!

Ok guys i think that this is going to be my project for the next couple of years until im graduated.... here is my idea let me know what you think!
buy another 4.6L for super cheap (200-300 bucks)
refurbish and P&P the PI heads that i have already
find a PI truck intake and install it
75 mm throttle body
forged crank, rods, and pistons
comp cams XE274 stage 2 cams ( possibly)
comp cams beehive valve springs
longtube headers (egr and o2 sensor delete)
3000 stall converter
t-67 sts turbo
electric fans
tuned by HP Performance

I know most of yall are sayin why dont you get a 5.4? because I want it to be a 4.6l powerhouse!

Nothing is going to be cheap in this project. And if you do come through with it, don't waist your time with the 4.6. The 5.4s have a longer stroke same bore but bigger displacement**, same block and their output is better with higher RPMs. There are sooo many guys with built engines on this forum its unreal and im sure they will tell you the same. 4.6s are for mustangs IMO. 2nd, overall it would be cheaper just to find a 4.6 or 5.4 someones selling on craigslist complete, with PI heads and PI intake, and swap it with your old harness and setup. I highly prefer a 1999 5.4, it has PI heads and an aluminum PI intake that you can port, 2000-2003 come with PLASTIC intakes like mine, in which im swapping out with aluminum so i can port it aswell as the tb and plenum. Aftermarket TBs are overrated, you can get them ported to 75mm+ by someone, or do it yourself, theres help here with that too! There are crap tons of information about how to do the 4.6 to 5.4 swap. Just a suggestion man, other than that we would definitally love to see this! 4.6 OR 5.4!

To be honest, if you want to do it cheap, I'd go with a MMR shortblock...they go for about $2,900 if I remember right. I honestly have no clue how they build them that cheap. You'll end up with more than that in parts and machine work most likely.
If your not looking for the satisfaction of building each piece yourself, I'd go with their shortblocks, save your money and spend it on the other parts. They are tough too, there are a lot of them around, and I've not heard of one single issue.

Good luck with that. I ported and polished a 4.6 intake. I had about twenty five hours into it.

I did not feel comfortable taking my stock TB to more than 69.5mm in diameter. You will NEVER get 75 out of a stock TB.

Also to the OP you will not be able to delete the upstream o2 sensors.
