Cam'd my f150, not sure if its running right?

Hey guys! So i got her together and running. My recent upgrades were ported, decked, surfaced, polished heads with valve job and comp cams stage 2 cams. I do have the evolution but was told i should probably put it back to stock until i get the gryphon upgrade with a custom tune. Also, found out when i got the heads done that i was using cheapo BOSCH plugs Which i didnt have the money right now to get the NKGs so thats where it sits. Here is a video of what it sounds like at idle. I know for a good fact that its timed right and everything, as far as cam timing. But it just doesnt seem right, doesnt seem to be getting enough fuel and burning enough fuel. Maybe i just need to get the dang custom tune, maybe injector upgrades and NKG iridium plugs! I was also referred to Brisk performance plugs by TNT performance here in mn. Let me know what ya think!

It sounds like it is just lopin really hard to me. A good tuner can tune most of that out. Mine was the same way until my tuner got ahold of it. You can barely hear the cams now. Idles and drives like a stock truck for the most part. As far as injectors you should be fine with the stockers, you havent added boost so i dont see a reason why you need to upgrade. I dont know about a n/a setup but i have ran tr6's in my truck when it was a 4.6 with spray and a built 5.4 supercharged. They are a good plug and only 17 bucks a set.

I would get the bosch plugs outta there pronto. They are probably the worst plug you can buy for a modular.

It needs to be tuned but DAM Dude it sounds real cool like an old muscle car from the 60's my 89 gt with a KB X303 cam and Trick flows was similer sounding but no tuning way back in 98 at least at the time it was an EEC-IV. I think your truck sounds sweet man!!!!

Ha, thanks guys. Ya i dont want that sound to go away because it does sound old school but if its not right its gotta go. Ya, im just waiting to get ahold of someone at PHP, because i think i need to speak to them in person as to what i need done. Ya i was reading amongst some spark plug threads and BOSCH was #1 along with autolite as to what NOT to EVER use in this motors. And i also read that it would cuz these motors to randomly jolt, sputter kind of thing, and well? Thats exactly what it did. I am willing to bet that disapears when i get some NKGs. I just want the highest performance plug i can get so i dont have to **** around with them for awhile. Any suggestions?

Sounds sweet. Those cams need a bunch more air through the iac to idle smoothly.
