Effects4 - are you saying that an Autolite in a 5.4 3V failed in 15k? If so, I'm withdrawing my previous recommendation that they are OK in that engine.

thanks guys iam going to start with the plugs and COPs then i will see what happens...hopefully it is fixed..i heard somewhere a guy brought it into the dealership and they charged over $800 to put in new plugs and COPS...that is freaking crazy..imo

That's because the dealer charges retail price for cops and plugs, plus 2 to 3 hours labor.

P0301 ( fixed ) ( for me)

I had same problem with my truck misfire runinng rough, so I change fuel filter, wash catalytic 4 of them, change fuel pump change no. 1 and no.2 coils swapping injectors and nothing, my surprise was when I change no. 1 spark plug !!just!!! No.1
And Fixed I can believed so I hope this helps by the way I was using auto lite spark plugs, now I change for MOTORCRAFT!!!!!! NO MORE CHEAP OR AFTER MARKET PARTS .
