My godson has a 2006 2wd with the 5.4, The engin will not fire and a loud grinding noise from the engin when it is turning over. The oil looks like choclate milk. Could this be anything other than an internal crack on the block?

 

Could have been head gaskets. But, it sounds like it was driven with contaminated oil enough to destroy the engine would be my guess. What does the oil smell like? Does it smell like gasoline?

 

I'll have to check, I didn't notice it when I looked at it.
