Help with codes...

Ok fella's, my truck died on me today while sitting at a light. It started back up and has been fine since. I took it and had the codes pulled and it gave me "P2112" and "P2104". Can someone please translate these for me...? Thanks in advance....

Looks like your still in a hurry, so am I , -gottuh go..

5 more posts and people will be looking around to see what your driving, again. We shouldn't have to do that, it's a hassle and inconsiderate. Just fill it out right(as said) and be done with it, then it will post automatically , when you do.

Unless you want to type it out each time lol.

JBREW, if you are in such a hurry maybe you shouldnt post anything... Noone asked you to be a smarta$$..! If you have issues with posting, DONT!! This post was for Ford guys that actually want to help..!

Matts Ford, It is a completely stock 2005 F150 FX4 with around 140,000 miles on it. (well it is leveled with 35's on it) I've never had any issues with the truck really... Its been a pretty good truck thus far...? Any idea's as to what could be throwing these codes..? Thanks in advance to those who are actually trying to help...

Got a wrench light on the dash? Could be something going on withe the throttlebody. Since its a drive-by-wire the components are not controlled by cable it is translated thru the computer from a potentiometer on the gas pedal and then die to the resistance or the sensor it calculate the amount to open the throttle blade. Get the DBW system looked at.

i'm sorry just couldnt help it.

anyways i dont mess with a whole bunch of drive by wire systems but after searching the internet(using google of course), it looks like the codes are pointing towards the throttle body assembly or the tps.

Let's see - a member with 23 posts giving a senior member with over 14000 posts a hard time because he got called out for not filling out his profile when asked? That's not how to get good help around here - this particular senior member is one of the most knowledgeable people on the boards on these Triton engines...................and if you **** him off he won't give you the time of day. I see it here all the time. Yes, he's abrasive, but smart people will overlook that when they see just how high quality his help is.

Thanks for the back-up fellers

Cordova_1 - Look up at the black bar where it says "UserCP" - Click on that , it's your Control Panel. That's where you can edit your profile and fill that info in

That reminded me, I've been meaning to head over to the CP myself,- and change my online bulb. It's been out for awhile
