Thanks for the site good info. I have 75,000 miles. I actually had the battery disconnected for bout 4 hrs after the first time the light came on and I cleared it. Do I have to remove the throttle body to clean it or can it be done by only removing my intake tube?

Yea , it's a sure bet that TB is dirty. Your using a junk filter for that truck , that's no way to treat it. Better clean the MAF while your at it, -since you thru a oiled element in the intake = bad move IMO. Run your hand inside the intake, feel all that sand/dirt that gets past that filter? Try it.

The 04+ with electronic throttles don't like aftermarket intakes unless you get a tune. I'm a bit surprised that you aren't throwing lean codes.

mikeyfire08- do you happen to have an edge tuner? for some reason they have been causing the p0506 code with the drive by wire systems.
