for starters i'd take them bosch's out and put autolite copper core plugs in.

and the firing order- 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 -counter clockwise on the distributor

front
5 1
6 2
7 3
8 4
make sure that the wires are in the right order just in case- and i really do recommend replacing them bosch plugs. and make sure the timing is set to 10* btdc

they dont have the correct heat range, they can fall apart inside the combustion chamber. sometimes they work, sometimes they dont. i pulled a set of bosch plugs with 15,000 miles out of an explorer with the 5.0 and 2 of the plug terminals were broken. plus the 5.0/302 likes the autolite copper cores the best.
