Vacuum leak behind intake manifold...

Got a bunch of lean codes, i looked around and noticed i could hear a lot of air behind the intake manifold. i played with the lines and i could hear it fluctuating. Its seems impossible to get back there and feel whats wrong.....

would anyone know if i have to take the intake manifold off or go from under the truck which seems pretty cramed also.

Thanks

You might want to let everyone know the truck, year, and what engine. I'm just guessing its a 2004 F150. 4.6 or 5.4 ? .

If its an OBS its prob the pcv tune from the pass valve cover to the manifold. The soft tube usually flakes apart

does anyone know where those lines go? I have the same issue and I found elbow that is unplugged behind the motor and not sure where it goes or how to get it.

Look at the vacuum map on the VECI label.

My 2006 F150 5.4 had a recall that had something to do with the PCV elbow - It was a real bear for the mechanic to get to, but it was fixed free. Is it possible that this may be a similar issue, and maybe even covered by a recall?
