Throttle Body Spacers, Yes or no?

Seems like another cheap way to increase performance and gas mileage for my 95 f150 (302 5.0) would be a throttle body spacer. Any body have any experience with these? Do they really work or is it not worth the 60 bucks?

There's a search feature that if you had used it you would have found lots of information on throttle body spacers.

they do absolutely nothing for performance on a port fuel injected engine.
heres a thread to view for performance ideas-
https://www.f150online.com/forums/pr...-upgrades.html
gtrider mentions bumping the timing to 13.5*- thats for everyday driving performance. when i said to bump it up to 18*- thats strictly for track use.

I got one on my 00 5.4 and combined with a K&N 77 series it sounds like a turbo but minus the performance of one. I've heard the do more for 4 and 6 cylinders than 8. I wouldn't get one again.
