Hi I have an 01 lariat that has a problem When Istart it for the first time of the day no matter what time it will stall. You have to keep on the gas to keep it running after that it will start all day no problem. It has also started to hesitate at cruising speeds when you accelerate. Plugs, cops, and wires replaced about 15000 ago only mod is k&n air filter and flowmaster cat-back duals. truck throws no CEL any help would be appreciated

 

I would look at changing the fuel filter first.

My dads truck is a 00 and had the same problem, No CEL light was glowing but i still pulled the codes and it had a bad fuel pump relay, May be different for you but it is worth a shot.

 

check IAC for carbon buildup. Caused my starting problem, very intermittent. Eiterh take it of and clean it or replace it. On the back of the throttle body held on by 2 10mm bolts, use throttle body cleaner to clean the spring and valve.
