too me it looks yellow

and this is a factory ford pink injector..from what i can find it came on the mustang in late 02 and up

but does anyone know for sure if it is a 21lb injector and would i gain anything by putting them in..i am getting a custom dyno tune and am just wondering if i would benefit anything

if those hp rating are correct i might be getting close to 100% duty cycle with the 19lb injectors..i am hoping to be in the 320+ hp but won't know until i am on the dyno what it is really pushing

Orange on Top, but yea looks like Hot Pink on the bottom lol. It's probably suppose to resemble Red.

Google the Part number or thro the Part# in @ ebay motors SrchBar. Should be able to confirm.

I don't know ? Part# look-up comes back with 0. I think their 30's, but the numbers don't match.

I read that other stuff in the Mustang Forum last night, - Yea, I see where it's confusing as hell. Some say Pink =19's (very few), One seller on Ebay was selling Pink Mustang injectors as 19's. The Majority sticking with F0TE-D9B, 22#, jetronic; "Pink Top" 21-22 lb'ers.

I found the Part number on Fords (Motorcraft) Part # PDF sheet. Go here if you need a part number for anything -

http://fordfzone.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3414

It's on page # = 469 - Here's the PDF itself - ( http://www.fordinstallersupport.com/...ogs/fes200.pdf ). BTW- You might have to download/save to desk top first/ then open is seperate operation for it to work.

LINCOLN .................................................. .1994-91
LIGHT TRUCKS

That's all I found on it - No spec,- which doesn't help much.

Now that's a great find, - some interesting stuff right their. I run the type (design) 3's (third from the last in the vid) . I have been running those for 3 years or so and what I notice most is consistency. Doesn't seem to matter much , -city/highway, I'm always @ 15-16 mpg. It's not the best in the world , but it sticks. If I tried , I imagine I could jump up to 16-18.

I have to watch that vid again and write that Rail pressure down he tested at, -I think he said 37lbs. ? The Orange/Pinks flow about the same. BUT, if that's correct, that would make the Orange 19 lb'er a 21 or 22 lol.

I have to look at that again, but yea, -GREAT Link!

he said hes running them at 43.5 lbs..something about ford rail being 37lbs

so do you think i will gain anything by putting the pink injectors in..they flow alittle more..not much...he says that he considers them both to be 22lbs..

I probably wouldn't use them personally. Well it would depend on what PCM I was using , unless it's getting tuned. The Orange 19's (Type 2's and 3's ) put out about the same flow rate as the 22's, that's what's throwing me, a little -right now anyway. What intake are you using ? Truck or Car?

I would have to investigate more myself, specially now. RIght off- Here's a good one pager with some good "Injector/PCM" info, -of what you may be faced with if you stray from the original poundage without a tune -

I made decent power with 24# injectors, I gained like 15hp and a few ft lbs, you can always run 'em (after the ECM is tuned) since your getting tuned but if they are larger than 24#ers you'll max out your stock pump and run lean in the higher rpms
