Hard to understand your writing, are you still in school ?

Anyway, I was referring to the 2001 5.4L. If your running Accels in the 5.4L, , -they have,-hands down, -the worst record in failure. Beside being for the most part, an over-priced headache.

I live in nc now and been riped off by two mechanics and dont want to go to dealer and pay the big prices just cant see to find someone reasonable and dont think zip ties are the best part for the job . thanks for the info and the answers Shawn
Nope, you wouldn't notice your coolant getting low, or smell -it doesn't happen often enough. The problem intermittent enough not to notice. What has been noticed before is water spots on top of the coils and coolant in the chambers.

I posted the links and gave the info for parts. I'm not sure what else you need, well, except maybe a Chiltons or Haynes manual.

Here's a pick of the lines that leak like that -

Like I said tho, replacements from Ford are better. You'll only need expansion clamps for the bottom because they come with fittings on the top.

Yea, Ford coils are over priced as hell. I purchased both Motorcraft coils and Global Automotive coils on Ebay in the past. I purchased many many sets for myself and others - No difference.

That's how I know what works and where to go. I posted the link for you on the other page. A set of 8 good coils are only $70 = for all 8!!!

A full set of Ebay cops is only $79.95 shipped. Why pay close to that for just ONE aftermarket cop? Change them ALL and keep whatever old ones are still good for spares. The Ebay cops are lifetime warranty, just slap an old one back in if one fails till you can get the bad one exchanged.

Use Motorcraft SP-series plugs and torque then to 28 ft/lb, and do NOT use antiseize. Make SURE you use dielectric grease in the cop boots.
