First check to see if you compressor is cycling.... turn the AC on and look at th ecompressor and see if the outer clutch is spinning... If you system has a leak and is too low on refrigerant, it wont cycle.... Second, and what it probably is, your blend door

if it does, then there is a leak somewhere.... I saw a can of compressor oil/sealant at the parts store the other day... but I'm sure this is related to your blend door

Do your controls in your cab appear to be working?

Is your coolant level low?

I'm not sure what the blend door is that Camarothatcould was talking about, but I had this same problem a couple years back and fixed it by adding a can of refrigerant.

You can buy an A/C gauge and filling apparatus at AutoZone or whatever parts store you have there (costs about $20) and use that to check the pressure. Directions should be included. Then if you need to add more it's around $10 for a small can, but if you're almost empty you'll probably need more than one.

That'll fix the symptom, but you may still have a leak (maybe this is where the blend door comes in ). Then again I added refrigerant to mine about 4 years ago and it's still strong, so there must not have been a significant leak; it just got used up.

Good luck.

If your heater doesn't get hot, it's not a compressor/refrigerant issue. You have a problem in the control system somewhere. You might want to post in the HVAC section.........................
