plz help

plz help

i started my 2006 f150 today it was ok til i got to a light it started shaking got to my brothers house looked at the oil it was all good also saw white smoke blowing from the exhaust when idle any idea

Most likely a stuck open fuel injector. Possibly covered under a "recall" program. I know the 05s are, not sure on the 06.

Stuck injector should give you black smoke, not white smoke. Hold your hand over the exhaust when it's smoking and see if you get water droplets on your hand.

Wrong, too much unburnt fuel will smoke white also. These engines don't blow head gaskets. Only gasket problems are from high mileage, unmaintained coolant systems causing the gasket to fail. Ever see a funnycar lose a cylinder and all the white smoke comes out. That's the unburnt fuel.

Does the white smoke dissipate like steam, or does it hang around and dissipate more slowly.

so update my f150 had a rod go in the engine block i got it use at 26000miles and it has 30000 now so giveing me a new engine gg i got new oil in it at 29000

Did they say if it hydrolocked? I'm wondering if it wasn't an injector, since there has been some problem with the injectors in the'06 also.
