Red face changed my fuel filter..wow

this is the crap that was in it. this is only on around 9,000 miles on this filter.

yeah. and its not like i use the cheapest gas i can find. i would like to see what gets by the filter.

how many miles on your truck? Any symptoms you were having that made you swap it out? Any improvement?

hmm , my truck is almost 10,000 km , u think it's better to clean it while it's in the dealer?

i have about 140,000 on the truck. horrible gas mileage before and it runs a little better now. i didnt clean it. i replaced it. i blew through it backwards just to see the old crap.

Needs to be changed about every 15,000 miles. It's not difficult to do yourself, or the dealer can do it.

I keep meaning to change my fuel filter but never get around to it. I bought the truck with 38k miles and don't know if it was ever done prior to that. I've got almost 65k on it now, so I'm sure its really nasty. I've got an oil change scheduled in a couple hundred miles, so I'll make a point to change it then.
