04 V8's don't use coil packs. The 5fours never did and the 4six hasn't used them since 2000 - You must have a V6. There's a V6 forum, try posting their as well.

Please fill in your profile info. We don't have a clue what engine you have and it DOES make a difference.

is it the heritage edition or new body style? the heritage editions had the 2v 5.4 which is why i ask. they used different coils. assuming you have the new body those coils are wrong. those go to the 5.4 2v and the 4.6 2v. you need coils for the 5.4 3v if you have the new body

The 3V takes DG511's. They are $41.99 each at Rockauto.com. Global Automotive on Ebay has replacements for $150 a set shipped, lifetime warranty.

WOW!!!!! - They carry them now !! First set I've seen on Global.

3V owners will eat this up!! Those are Genuine Motorcrafts !!!

Global stepped up. This is great news.

Someone should make an announcement (that makes them easy to find,- thru search). - Like maybe the finder

Question

Just had my #4 COP replaced today. My buddy didn't charge me, but I was curious how much he pd. He got a new one from the $tealership.

They pulled 3 plugs just looking around. He said they came out easy.
What is the BEST replacement plug to put in an '05 5.4 3V ??

They only have 65k on them, but I think sooner is better than later with the plug stories!
