Its real loopy between 5 and 1k. almost dies but doesnt. I didnt get a chance to look at it today, I had a birthday and family pictures that needed attention. Tomorrow for sure I will take another look at it.

With that kind of idle, it's probably a vacuum leak, most likely that PCV elbow.

You sir, are the ****in man! I tried to remove the elbo from the back of the intake and well it came off in two pieces. Made a quick run to the parts store and low and behold they had one. long story short, I can drive my truck again after a month of frustration. Thank you so much!. Thanks to all who shared their ideas, they kept me from tearing the motor apart.
