Question Problem Starting

Maybe someone has had this happen to them, or knows what is going on...

2006 F150 Supercrew King Ranch 4x4, 5.4 with no engine modifications & 48k miles.

When I try to start my truck, it seems to 'almost' start, then I have to try again, then hold the key in the start position longer than it should take. When that happens, there is a hesitation and a slow ramp up to idle rpm's. This doesn't happen everytime, but seems like it happens most times if I try to start it by just 'bumping' the starter.
