I have a 01 Screw and am having a VERY hard time finding a wide Expy console to install. My question is....Has anyone tried to install a '03, '04 or '05 Expy console? Does it use the same floor mount plates as the earlier ones? How about the angle of the bottom edge? What about the fit to the plastic heater vent on the front under the dash? I need answers Help please.

 

i'm not sure but 04 was the new body f150 and i believe expy. there are most likely changes inside as well.

 

Yeah...but as I carefully examine the 97-02 Expy console with pictures of the 03-06 Expy console, they appear *VERY* close to identical. I just want to know if anyone has compared them. Do they use the same mounting plates? Will it reach the underdash shield with no gap? What about floor contour, is it the same. ARGHHHHH

I would be happy with the looks and features of the newer consoles, but I want/need the wider version and cannot find a decent one around. I have bid on several on ebay but they always go for just a bit more than I want to pay. I had one but when time came to ship to me, they found damage and cancelled.
