Mystery connector

Just put a 5.4 from a 2001 into a 99 f 150 that had a 4.6. Used the 4.6 harness that I did not remove followed all the info on here for wiring but ended up with on extra connector by the oil sender plug. Engine runs with out it hooked up and no codes yet. Any one got any ideas?

Im gonna try to get a picture of it on her but it is a small flat 2 wire connector.(a male connector)

Its the grey and red conector here. The one with the yellow insert plugs into the sender on the oil filter housing.

Don't worry about it - it's nothing for that model.

No problem. It's a Electronic Variable Orifice (EVO) steering connector.

Not sure about the Expy's, but the Nav's got it - elec-assist steering.

Electric assist for slow Hydraulic flow @ start up.

Different engines in 99, wheels, interior, but yea, same box. They may have had it, not sure.
