my ol 4.6

Well since i bought er its used about 2 quarts of oil about every oil change til the other day i smelled oil burnin so i crawled undernieth to check it out and there it was leakin on the cat. well now i got a 97 romeo ive heard about these having leaking headgaskets and i found the tsb about the 98's leakin oil, i cant see right where its leaking from but i was told to check an oil plug to see if thats loose, i couldnt see a damn thing...maybe if i puilled the starter off, but now was there a problem with the 97's head gaskets. so ive just been dumping a quart iner about every 2 weeks how big of a job is it to change a headgasket on these motors thanks

usually its easier to pull the engine out of the truck (on OHC engines) to do heads then to do them in the truck
