Question F150 4.6l vs Mustang

Is there a difference between the 4.6 Mustang engine and the 4.6 in the F150?

Depends on if it's a Windsor or Romeo 4.6 and if they have PI heads or not.

This may be more info than you need, but.....http://www.babcox.com/editorial/ar/eb40228.htm

You could swap a car engine into a truck or vice versa without too much trouble.

You need to be more specific about what parts you want to use. Some are direct almost replacements, some are are bad choice but will work, some just won't work.
What are we talking about here??

Well, I'm thinking intake, cam, supercharger and etc.

But might be just easier to find a Lightning engine ?
