If one goes bad it means the others will soon follow. I always replace them as a set and just get it over with. Plugs/coils=tune up.

My Globals arrived today! Will install them this weekend when it's 70 degrees! I'll let you know how it goes!

The Brewman, screwing with the Newbie, I think he gets it now.

As Brew & Shro told ya, replace all of the plugs and COP's at this point.
It's a pain in the butt, but for $100.00 for COP's & plugs you will be running great.

You can also check the primary and secondary resistance on the COP you just installed. Your secondary "K" OHMs should read between 5.1 and 5.5 but I havn't seen a COP measure 5.5 K-OHMs yet, even tho the spec in my manual says that the OHM reading should be 5500. (5.5k x 1000 = 5500).

You can also check the OHM resistance on the fuel injector. I already forgot what year your truck is, otherwise I would give you that spec., but I would check it. I just fixed a Jeep that had a misfire problem and the problem cylinder measured way off what the other 5 injectors were reading. Replaced the bad injector and the Jeep runs excellent with no more hesitation or CEL.

Yeh, I noticed you were ragging on ppl for a couple of weeks there. I just figured you were stressing about your truck or the economy, or not working,
etc etc..
Gave me a laugh a few times to be honest. Especially when they don't post all of their truck info, that really got you pee'd a few times.
I have actually stopped posting because it is the same old questions that could be answered with the SEARCH feature on this forum. There are some good threads and questions being posted but most of it has been discussed over and over and over, you get the idea.

You get the last few buggers worked out on your truck. I have been following the chatter but not hearing answers.

I was ragging? Is that what it looks like? Really? That wasn't intended. Yea, stress - Things suck right now because I have know idea what's going to happen. Other than that, I'ts just peachy.

I have one more honker that needs extracting. I dropped a line in suspensions yesterday. Not even a nibble yet -
