them channeloc parrot jaw pliers work great for that kind of stuff
.
i also think craftsman has a stripped bolt or stud remover that you hook to a 1/2" ratchet.
and what does the dealer tie the cop down on to hold it?

Ford said the screw is too small to use one of those easy outs.
From what i could tell (I went and looked at it) they already tried to remove it from the threaded part. i think the problem is that the bolt it rusted inthere or something alont those lines.
they sprayed it and its gonna sit overnight.
the real problem is, is thats theres not really enough left for anything to grab onto it. maybe if you stack 2 dimes togeather thats how much is left.
these bolts are really skinny.
*sigh*

I brought the drill out and retap idea up and they said thats what they would probley end up doing after they get the upper plennem out or what ever its called. and pull that plastic tab out that the bolt screws into.

Yep, you don't even need to go a size bigger if its drilled straight/centered. One size smaller, the rest will bust from threads while tapping/cleanning out. I busted 11 bolts last time I worked on the truck lol. Just about every one in the front end/core support. I didn't use a drill to remove - to slow. Used a carbide burr in die grinder
BTW - Coils aren't screwed unless they go bad. Otherwise their bolted.
