Lightbulb 97 f-150 4.2 engine swap to a 5.4

hey i gotta 97 f150 with a 4.2 in it and i have looked all over for a supercharger but i cant find anything. so im thinkin about putting a 5.4 in it. i know i would need a new tranny and need to find a 5.4 motor. but would the transfer cases match up? would i need to change my fuel pump? bigger fuel line? and where can i find a wiring harness for a 5.4? and what r other things i would have to change?

Not sure about the T case(whether it will bolt up or not) But if your going with a 5.4 with a supercharger you will need a bigger fuel pump.Fuel lines are ok unless you looking to make 7 or 800 HP..lol
wire harness you can find in most classifieds, here and the Lightning sites or ebay.I even have an extra laying around.
Go on ebay and search(Lightning engine)There a lot on there and you would have your 5.4 ,,supercharger and all.

Try harder.

The Mustang 3.8L has a kit available for it using some kind of adapter and a 4.6L KB blower, if memory serves correct.

The 3.8L is only a smaller version (internally) of the 4.2L.
