what engine? tranny? mileage? condition? either way you have to pull the engine to do the pump. and it all depends on what its worth to you. the truck is 23 years old. would it be an off road beater or everyday driver or just a work truck? for me its worth it to fix up and drive or use for parts on my truck, or off roading.

I have done an oil pan gasket on a simular truck. the one I did was a 4x4 and I can say while it can be done without pulling the engine it is NOT easy. Bad oil pump probably means the engine is shot anyway. If its a really nice truck and all I would do it with just getting a junk yard motor in mind. They are plentiful and cheap.

it would be a work truck, i have my daily driver, not sure about any of the other stuff just wondering how hard a oil pump is to change on the truck,

im tired of pullin trailers and using my daily driver as a work truck to (not that i mind 2 much its not that nice anyways) just a little something to have fun in
