Fuel pump driver module

Hi Guys,

You guys were a huge asset in changing plugs and COPS in my 2005 5.4 3v XLT SCab 4x4, so I was hoping to get some answers regarding the fuel pump module.

A friend just had his F150 die, and was diagnosed with a destroyed module. We're in Upstate NY, and the roads are usually white with salt in the winter. As can be expected, this is bad for electrical components. I'm going to do some PM on my truck this weekend. If the module is cracked, and can be epoxied, I'll do that. If it doesn't look like it can be repaired, has anyone found a source for these things ? ..or is it strictly a dealer part ? It cost my buddy $ 120, just for the part from a dealer.

I also have a 2007 with just a few thousand miles on it. How about if I wrap that one with high voltage rubber splicing tape, and find a new way to remount it.

Thanks in advance

the module is just about the same as the old one but the new one come with bolts that have a nut on them and you put that onto the frame and then mount the new module on those bolts so that it is up off the frame helping prevent corrosion

i work at a dealership so im not to sure if there is anywhere else you can get it.

i would call around to any automotive stores you have in your area and see if they have one or if they know of anywhere that has one
