im looking to get as much performance out of my 08 f150 5.4L fx4 as i can. i was wondering if any one has cold air intake and if it helps or worth it. and any other suggestions. i just purchased an EDGE Evolution chip that i have installed.

 

The S&B is a cheaper and higher quality system then the K&N. You should hit up PHP and have them custom tune your EDGE to get the most out of it and out of the CAI.

 

Absolutely worth it! Get an exhaust too! With an intake your engine will be breathing better and it will love to exhale better too! Next thing you know you will be looking for a supercharger! Hahaha

 

haha. i would love 2 get a super charger... but kinda hard 2 spend $5,000 on that tho. i have dual exhaust, just took off the muffler and installed y pipe.
