Replacing Throttle Actuator Controller

OK engine guys: I posted this in the 2004+ forum and got no responses, so I hope to have better luck here.

Short story: Last Saturday, after driving about 30mi or so, I was cruising a city street and the engine just died (doing about 10mph). Truck restarted after shutting off the key and was able to drive about 20mi back home with no issues. I even had to make a stop, and the truck started and has run fine since. Codes pulled are P2104 & P2111 which point to the throttle actuator control.
Has anyone replaced this? This is my first drive-by-wire vehicle so although I have swapped out a TPS on a Chevy, this is my first TAC. I read in another post about reflashing the PCM after the swap, but is there anything else to watch out for? Finally, anyone got a part number for my '05?

thanks in advance!

Good luck I have simular problem. My truck is a 05 f150 xlt 5.4 crew cab. I was told my throttle body was bad. My truck shuts off with respect that I idle at 600rpm, but no pedal control.

Mine did that and gave the same code last week. I reset the code and took it to the dealership. They cleaned the throttle body and all is good so far!

Well, it's been a week and the code has not reappeared since I cleared it. This bugs me as I don't have the fullest confidence in my truck right now, especially driving the kids, at night, in bad weather. This is why I want to replace the throttle actuator controller. I think I will clean the throttle body too just to be safe.

Any other tips regarding the TAC is still appreciated.

On Sunday, had the hood open with the truck idling and I heard it stumble to the point where it almost died. It caught itself and idled normally, but the stumble occurred several times. This is the first time I noticed this (except when the truck actually died!).
So I unbolted the aircleaner intake and cleaned my throttle body and butterfly valve with a clean rag with a little WD40 on it. As expected, lots of blackness on the rag, and after bolting it all back up, I notice that idling was much smoother and no stumble. I will definitely keep an eye on my throttle body as the source my issues.
