Reman Motocraft 4.6 start-up recommendations

Thought I'd tap this knowledge reserve another time for your thoughts on initial start-up and break in procedures for a remanufactured engine.

Didn't receive much info with the engine and have been surfing the net looking for answers,

My engine came with the front timing covers installed so I must assume the timing is set properly. Do I just simply insert the cam and crank position sensors and the engine will adjust the timing just from these sensors?

There is no "timing adjust" on the 5.4, or 4.6. Computer takes care of it. Disable the crank sensor, and spin the engine over to build oil pressure, then fire it up.

I just put a new motor in my truck.
Break in I'm flowing.
Start engine,,let run 15 or 20 min.Turn off,change oil.
Run for 100 miles at varying RPMs,,never keeping a steady rpm for long distance.
Chang oil.
Run for 500 miles without running to high of rpm,,like try to keep it under 4000rpm.
Chang oil,,run however you want.
From what I understand,,after first 25 miles the ringes are set.
