It doesn't sound as if you have any idea of what you are doing. I would replace the starter and the relay, but you don't even seem to know where the starter is. Call a tow truck and have them take it to the Ford dealership to get repaired.

The thing I was hitting is round and next to the battery and it has a connection running to it from the battery via a little electrical station up by the dash.
